Total of 700 soldiers from both India and Nepal were part of India-Nepal joint military exercise that concluded on Monday in Pithoragarh, India. An army officer told “Times of India” that “The main objective of the 2 week long training was to focus on “The exercise provided an ideal platform for the personnel of the two countries to share their experiences on counter insurgency operations especially in mountainous terrain and also on aspects of disaster management which frequently affect both countries.”
