Dachhiri Sherpa, is a cross country skier from Nepal who recently came second to last at Winter Olympics that was held in Sochi. He had predicted that he would be last.
Even the winner of the race waited to shake his hand. “But the placing is not important if I can teach young people in Nepal about the Olympic spirit. This spirit is in my heart.” He told Agence France-Presse.
His main goal is to be at the Olympic and participate. Dachhiri who is 44 lives both in Nepal and Switzerland helps and support orphans in Nepal with education. This is his third and last Olympic.
