Around 6-foot-long snake was spotted on Friday slithering on the red carpet that was laid to welcome the Nepalese President, Bidhya Bhandari.
President Bhandari was returning from New York after attending the UN summit.
“As security personnel stepped up security for the head of the state and high ranking government officials started arriving in the airport to receive and welcome her, the snake which appeared to be around six-feet long turned up and slithered across the red carpet before it made its way to the nearby bush, said a police official at Tribhuvan International Airport”, the Himalayan Times reported.
