First time his photos in national costume went viral was back in Nov/Dec, 2018 when he was spotted in Kathmandu in Nov,2018. He was in Nepal to shoot for National Geographic’s “The Story of God”, an American Televison series. We even posted a video of him during the shoot of the documentary.
US Embassy in Nepal had tweeted “Some ask why do cultural preservation efforts matter? 1 of the answers is preserving them for future generations, as well as tourists & visitors like Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman!
He even looks good in Daura Suruwal while touring cultural places in #Kathmandu, don’t you think?”
