In Dec 28th, 2016, Durga Bahadur Kunwar was facilitated by WCN (Wildlife Conservation Nepal) for his work as a tree grower during 8th National Nature and Wildlife Photography exhibition.
He has been working in the nursery for 41 years. Mr. Kunwar at the age of 87 is still actively involved in the nursery in Chalnakhel under the Department of Forest and has raised more than 28,000,000 tree saplings that have been distributed in different parts of Nepal for plantation.
