Abhishek Shankar Mishra aka ASM is not a new name in music scene of Kathmandu. The man behind SPIRIT X, and Leo Aries, Abhishek is an accomplished Blues Rock musician of Nepal.
He recently released a video of his new song “Across The World” that was shot live in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas during his second US Tour. “The song was shot and recorded live on the Sunday after Halloween and meant to express how we find lessons & people vital for our journey ahead. But scattered, across the world” says Abhishek.

Abhishek have performed in various states in the US as well, including the one at Buddy Guy’s Legends, a popular Blues club in Chicago owned by non other than the Blues legend Buddy Guy. The club have hosted several legends including Steve Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, B.B.King just to name a few.
“When you play the Blues, there are few places that milestone your journey… and playing where Buddy Guy, B.B King, Jeff Beck and many others have graced the stage was overwhelming, and absolutely unbelievable…I’m still so stoked.”
Abhishek was also one of the performer during “Benefit Concert” for Nepali legendary singer Om Bikram Bista in Chicago. Abhishek can also be heard on Radio Nagarik where he hosts a Rock show.
