These pictures are from demonstration organized by "Come on Youth Stand Up" (facebook group).  It was held at Mangal Bazaar, Patan on May 27th, 2011.  According to one of the demonstratiter, It was mainly focused to aware people for the drafting of constitution as soon as possible (as the extension is inevitable) for peace and prosperity of the country and also for the unity among Nepali people. "Come On Youth Stand Up" , a recently formed group, consists of youth who are mostly students, interns, among others.  The Street Art by RAG ( Rising Artist Group), and sing along session by Abhaya and The Steam Injuns were mainly focused on nationality and the unity required for the nation to prosper. One of the main reason for the event to be organized at Mangalbazaar was because of its cultural importance, ambience and the participation of people from the local level. The event would not have been successfull without the people (mostly the locals as the Bandha restricted ppl from other part of the city to participate).
